Fred Burns
Director/Cameraman 

Fred is a Director and cameraman specialising in documentaries, branded content and live music events. 

He has worked on films commissioned by the BBC, Netflix, Sky Arts and Channel4, amongst others. Notably as DOP (director of photography) on Cold War Steve Meets the Outside World (Sky Arts, 2020) which was shortlisted for a Grierson Award 2021.

His directorial debut feature documentary Basically, Johnny Moped was shown worldwide including IDFA (Amsterdam), Sheffield Doc/Fest, CIMMFest (Chicago) and Picturehouse Cinemas in the UK.
